I’m Nikki, the designer and business owner behind Nikki Machado Design.
In 2019, NMD began as a boutique graphic design studio built on the belief that thoughtful design and smart strategy go hand in hand. With over 15 years of experience and a BFA in Graphic Design from Cleveland State University, I’m able to bring a well-rounded perspective shaped by leading eCommerce design teams, working in small studios, getting my hands dirty in a print shop and designing in-house for growing brands. My diverse background helps me understand both the creative and practical sides of design, from big-picture brand strategy down to the finest production details.
Branding, identity and page layout are where I shine. I love organization and strive to turn complexity into clarity. I partner closely with my clients to understand their goals and bring their vision to life in a way that feels uniquely theirs.
When I’m not focused on design, I’m usually creating something, trying a new craft, drawing or spending time with my husband, two daughters and our dachshund.
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in understanding your goals. I believe the best design happens when creativity meets clarity — when visuals not only look beautiful but solve real business challenges.
